About this opportunity
WBG Pioneers is the World Bank Group's internship programme (successor to the Bank Internship Program). Interns work with teams in Washington DC, Seoul and country offices worldwide across economics, engineering, agriculture, education, finance, communications and corporate functions, earning a competitive hourly salary. Candidates may apply to up to three positions per cycle.
Eligibility: final-year undergraduates or current master's, MBA or PhD students enrolled at an accredited university; fluency in English; 0-6 years of professional experience; citizenship of a WBG member country (Ghana is a member). Applications need a CV (max 2 pages), cover letter (max 1 page) and transcripts or enrolment letters. Two cycles a year: Spring/Summer (applications Jan-Feb, selection April) and Fall/Winter (applications Jul-Aug, selection October). The Fall/Winter 2026 cycle opened on 13 July 2026.
