About this opportunity
The WHO Internship Programme offers students and recent graduates hands-on experience in public health and WHO's technical and administrative work. Internships are full-time for six to 24 weeks at headquarters in Geneva, regional offices (including AFRO in Brazzaville) and country offices, advertised continuously as vacancy notices on the WHO careers site (Stellis).
Eligibility: at least 20 at the date of application; enrolled in a university programme leading to a formal qualification, or within 18 months of completing it; three years of full-time university study completed before starting; fluent in a working language of the office; valid passport of a WHO Member State (Ghana qualifies); not related to WHO staff; no previous WHO internship. WHO pays a living allowance to eligible interns in need, insures all interns and may cover travel for some interns from developing countries.
