About this opportunity
Türkiye Scholarships is a competitive, merit-based Turkish government programme that places awardees at Turkish universities and funds associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral study. Many programmes are taught in Turkish, so scholars without a C1 certificate take a free one-year Turkish course; English-taught programmes may require TOEFL or similar.
Citizens of all countries may apply (Turkish and former Turkish citizens, and students already enrolled at the same level in Türkiye, are excluded). Age limits: under 21 (associate/bachelor's), under 30 (master's), under 35 (PhD); minimum grades 70%, 75% (graduate) and 90% (medicine, dentistry, pharmacy). The award covers tuition, a monthly stipend (4,500 TL undergraduate, 6,500 TL master's, 9,000 TL PhD), accommodation, health insurance, a once-off flight each way and the Turkish course. Apply free via TBBS, 10 January-20 February.
