About this opportunity
The SI Scholarship for Global Professionals supports full-time, one- or two-year English-taught Master's studies at Swedish universities for professionals who will contribute to sustainable development at home, in fields such as governance, public health, entrepreneurship and innovation, and STEM. Scholars join the SI Network for Global Professionals.
Only citizens of 34 listed countries may apply; for 2026/27 the African countries were Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Liberia, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Ghana is not listed, so Ghanaians are currently not eligible; the 2027/28 list is normally published in mid-November. Applicants apply to an eligible Master's via universityadmissions.se (mid-October to mid-January), need 3,000+ hours of work experience plus leadership experience, and submit the SI application in a two-week window in February.
