About this opportunity
The P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship Fund (est. 1949) provides need-based scholarships to women from countries other than the United States and Canada for graduate study in the US or Canada. The maximum award is USD 12,500 per year, paid in two instalments, for tuition and living costs; one renewal possible.
Applicants must not be US or Canadian citizens or permanent residents, must hold confirmation of admission to full-time graduate study, must have a full year of coursework remaining and be enrolled in residence all year, and must sign a promise to return home. Dissertation-only doctoral students are ineligible as first-time applicants; not for online courses, research-only, internships or practical training. Step one is an online Eligibility Form (15 Sep-15 Dec 2026); full applications (two recommendations, budget) are due 1 Feb 2027 (enrolled) or 15 Mar 2027.
