About this opportunity
One Young World convenes young leaders from every country at an annual Summit; the 2026 Summit is in Cape Town, South Africa, on 3-6 November 2026. One Young World and its partners offer scholarships that mostly cover Summit access, shared hotel accommodation, catering and travel, plus lifelong Ambassador Community membership and access to the Global Leadership Programme and Action Accelerator. Lead2030 challenges also fund SDG solutions led by founders under 30.
The Leading Scholarship 2026 opened on 11 June 2026 and closes on 31 October 2026 (rolling selection, priority to under-represented countries). Applicants must be 18-35 with an evidenced commitment to positive change and a track record of impactful ideas; no nationality restriction applies, so Ghanaians are eligible. Transport and accommodation are decided case by case. Partner scholarships vary (some are country-specific).
