About this opportunity
The MTN Ghana Foundation Bright Scholarship is 'designed to support talented students who encounter financial obstacles'. The 2026 round offered 500 awards: 300 for continuing students in STEM, vocational and technical programmes at public tertiary institutions and 200 for professional teachers pursuing STEM degrees. Beneficiaries receive tuition and accommodation fees, a laptop and a stipend for reading materials. Over 2,000 scholarships have been awarded since 2018.
Applicants must be Ghanaian citizens currently pursuing a degree at a recognised public tertiary institution in Ghana or enrolled in a vocational/technical course, with an excellent academic record and good conduct, and must not hold any other scholarship. Apply online at scholarship.mtn.com.gh with a one-page statement of goals (teachers add a CV and school recommendation). Shortlisted applicants meet a scholarship panel.
