About this opportunity
The Lester B. Pearson International Student Scholarships recognise international students who show exceptional academic achievement and creativity and are recognised as leaders in their schools. The award covers tuition, books, incidental fees and full residence support for four years; each year approximately 37 students are named Pearson Scholars (188 countries represented to date).
You must be an international student (non-Canadian requiring a study permit), in your final year of senior secondary school in 2026/27 or graduated no earlier than June 2026, beginning studies at U of T in September 2027, and not already attending post-secondary studies (or starting in January 2027). Students cannot self-nominate: high schools nominate one student per year via an online form, then the student applies for admission to U of T and completes the Pearson application via a private link.
