About this opportunity
The IsDB Scholarship Programme has four tracks: the IsDB-ISFD and MSc scholarships for Least Developed Member Countries, the Merit Scholarship Program for High Technology (PhD/post-doc) for member countries, and the Scholarship Program for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries (SPMC). Ghana is not an IsDB member, so only the SPMC applies; Ghana is on its 2025-2026 eligible-country list.
SPMC supports meritorious but financially needy Muslim students to take a first degree at a recognised government university in their own country in medicine, engineering, agriculture and related fields (dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary science, nursing, computer science, forestry). Applicants must be 24 or younger with good secondary-school science grades. It covers tuition, a monthly stipend, a books/clothing allowance and annual medical costs, as an interest-free loan repaid to a local trust.
