About this opportunity
The AIMS Structured Master's Program runs over three semesters: a skills phase (problem-solving, computing, modelling, statistics), an elective review phase (12 courses) and an eight-week supervised research essay. Students and tutors live on campus, taught by African and international lecturers. AIMS Ghana also offers a CO-OP track (2026-2028) with industry experience.
Applicants must hold, or expect to obtain by the course start, a four-year degree in mathematics or a science/engineering discipline with a significant mathematics component, a three-year honours degree, or (AIMS Ghana/Rwanda only) a three-year degree plus GCE A-level or Baccalaureat. Records should show leadership and community service; women are strongly encouraged. All accepted African students get full scholarships covering accommodation, food, health insurance, travel and a small stipend; no tuition fees.
