AAUW International Fellowships (since 1917) fund, for 2027-28, full-time master's and academic or professional doctoral study in STEM disciplines at institutions accredited by the US Department of Education. The award is a stipend of USD 20,000 for a master's or USD 25,000 for a doctorate, paid in two instalments.
Applicants must identify as a woman, must not be US citizens, permanent residents or green-card applicants, and must already be admitted or enrolled in their first master's or doctoral programme, with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5/4.0 and proof of English proficiency (TOEFL iBT 79, IELTS 6.5, Cambridge 176, Duolingo 120, or exemption). Programmes must start by 15 Sep 2027 and end on or after 30 Apr 2028. Study outside the US only for travel-ban citizens or Graduate Women International members. Two recommendation letters; awards announced March 2027.
